What's Going On!

Thank You for enjoying our pictures! I apologize for not having more lately but hunting & fishing seasons have kept us very busy so I haven't been getting many pictures with the horses (but a non-horse photo page may also appear soon if I get time). Mostly we have been doing beach rides and enjoying the last nice days before winter hits! Next summer will bring lots of new pics so be sure to check back then, and I might put up a few suprises thru the winter if we do anything really neat! I will also fix the broken pictures below soon!

September - Swift Creek Trail/ Parker Trail - Trinity Alps
Wow! Some amazing scenery, none of these pictures do it justice!

The Chute, about a 50' drop straight down
Confused tree! Foster's Cabin - Rebuilt in 1946

Foster's Barn The horses enjoy a break while we check out the cabin
Horseshoe Lake - only about 3 miles from our camp, but a steep 1000' climb in the last 1/2 mile!
Looking down from a cliff above horseshoe lake,
the trail is in that little meadow, and our camp is around the bend in the valley.
Rare California Pitcher Plant,
It is a carniverous insect eating plant
found in abundance on our trip!
Read more about them here
More pics from this trip coming soon, just haven't had time to get them all up here yet! ------ I forgot about these, they will appear some day soon!

July - Back to Canyon Creek!!

It was too pretty, we just had to go back and camp this time!

Looking over the cliff, at the grainte point. Neat shadow!

Had the kids walk it, just in case...

It was really hot, the horses had fun playing in the water at camp!

July - 6 Rivers Brewery's Full Moon Hoedown

We brought the babies, Rio and Bassira for everyone to meet.

We were next to the Crawdaddy tent!
The horses kept trying to taste them!

And Rio was loving all the scratches and attention!

Ohh that's the spot!!

Nap time - she got an overload on attention!
